Our team is passionate about supporting each child's social, emotional, and academic development through creativity, patience, and meaningful care. Position Summary We are seeking a Preschool Teaching Assistant or Aide to support our lead teachers in creating a positive and enriching classroom experience for children ages 2-5 . This role involves assisting with daily routines, supervising children, preparing classroom materials, and helping maintain a clean and safe learning space. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is interested in early childhood education. Pay $16-$22 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Assist teachers with classroom activities, learning centers, and group projects Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods Support children in developing self-help skills (handwashing, cleaning up, etc.) Help prepare classroom materials and set up daily lessons Maintain a clean, organized environment, including sanitizing toys and surfaces Provide individual attention and encouragement as needed Communicate respectfully with children, families, and staff Follow all school policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred) PATCH registration required Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus Basic understanding of child development practices Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills Patient, caring, and dependable approach with young children CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Early Achievers?
