Since opening its first center in Kahuku in 1972, Rainbow School has been committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and nurturing environments for young learners. All centers actively pursue accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children to ensure excellence in educational standards. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher's Aide to join our team! In this vital support role, you will assist lead teachers in creating engaging, safe, and nurturing classroom environments for preschool children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, support individualized learning needs, and contribute to a positive educational experience for every child.
Duties:
Position will be scheduled Monday - Friday from 7:30-4:30 with an hour break. Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on early childhood education topics such as literacy, math, and social skills Assist with classroom management to maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive environment for children of diverse abilities Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety at all times Support children' social emotional developement through positive interactions and guidance Help provide asssistance with daily classroom routines including snack time, nap time, and outdoor play while ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintain clear communication with teachers regarding children's progress and behavior
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with young children in an early childhood education settings is preferred Ability to work well within a team environment while demonstrating patience and flexibility Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, children, and parents Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies First Aid/CPR certification preferred Join our team to make a meaningful difference in young lives!
