Assistant Teacher/Floater

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
• Provide support and supervision to students with autism or special needs
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Assist with behavior management and implement strategies to promote positive behavior
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and development
• Support students in their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Assist with daily classroom routines, including mealtime, naptime, and toileting
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children, preferably in an early childhood education or special education setting
• Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate teaching techniques
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies for students with autism or special needs
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children

A degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred but not required. We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
