- 15.00 per hour The Creative Center for Young Children, a fine art focused Early Childhood Program, in Downtown Des Moines is seeking an energetic and career minded teacher associate to join our program. We are seeking a professional who would like to work in a small group setting with our 2
- 5-year-old children.
Minimum requirements:
16 years old. High School Diploma/GED. One year of experience caring for children in a group setting. CDA Credential or willingness to enroll immediately. Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting Lead Teacher with classroom duties and tasks. Engaging and interacting with children through direct care and supervision. Assisting with Creative Movement Class. Initiating and carrying out transition activities with children. Snack prep for family style meals. Attend monthly paid staff meetings and ongoing paid training. Assisting and encouraging life skills with the children that leads to increased independence.Benefits include:
2:00pm-6:00pm, 3:00pm-6:00pm Health and Dental Benefits. 403b 1 weeks paid vacation. Paid holidays. Paid sick days. 4 hours paid personal time. Discounted Child Care 20 hours paid annual training.
