Someone with experience in a 2 year old or 3 year old classroom is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities include lesson and activity planning, supervision and care of children, maintaining ratios and DHS guidelines, daily cleaning duties, daily paperwork, diaper changing, conflict resolution between children, and overall classroom management. Applicants must love children, be friendly, caring, responsible, energetic, mature, and able to communicate in a professional manner. Full-Time Applicants should expect to work 4 (10 hour) days per week, with weekends and one week day off. Applicant can expect to work varying hours between 6:30am-5:30pm during the week. Hours and rate of pay based on position and experience Applicants must be 16 years old to apply, over 18 preferred. CPR and First Aid certification, Mandatory Reporting, Universal Precautions, Essentials training, and other possible training certifications will be required before/after hiring. Physical and TB test are required prior to hiring, as well as background check. Physical must be completed on specific form provided, per DHS. We offer some flexibility with scheduling and hours.
