Aug 20, 2026 Job Description North Mahaska Community School District is seeking caring, dependable, and student-centered individuals to serve as Paraeducators at both the Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School levels. Multiple positions are available. Paraeducators work closely with teachers and school staff to support student learning, provide academic and behavioral assistance, supervise students, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities may include working with individual students or small groups, assisting with classroom activities, monitoring student progress, and supporting daily school operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with children is preferred but not required North Mahaska offers a supportive team environment and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students each day.
