RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment suitable for preschool children. Help maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Complete ongoing training and courses required by the director and state. Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments. Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times. Collaborate with other educators.

REQUIREMENTS

Help and encourage children. Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing childcare. Ability to act as mediator between children. Organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Friendly and approachable demeanor. Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times. Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
