Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. Your role will involve assisting with lesson planning, providing care for toddlers, supporting curriculum development, and working with students, including those with autism.Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide care and support for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum
- Work closely with students, including those with autism, to provide individualized support and assistance
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and development
- Assist with monitoring student progress and documenting observations
- Support literacy education by engaging students in reading activities
- Encourage social interaction and promote positive behavior among students
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or classroom setting is preferred
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices
- Experience working with students, including those with autism, is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and provide appropriate support We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
