This program is designed to support CRHS students in their transition from high school to higher education or the workforce. Participants will engage in a variety of educational and professional development activities that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to the growth and development of current students. Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of educational workshops and activities for high school students.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to students in academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Facilitate group discussions and activities that promote teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Help organize and participate in school events and community outreach programs.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Requires two years of college, an AA degree, or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment (Praxis Exam).
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • Basic knowledge of educational practices and child development principles.
  • Must pass background checks and meet any other requirements as mandated by the school district.
