Bensenville School District 2 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team at Tioga Elementary School. In this role, you will work closely with certified staff to support students with disabilities in a structured, inclusive learning environment. This is a meaningful opportunity to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while contributing to a positive school community.Job Description:
The Special Education Paraprofessional Aide will assist in a classroom setting under the supervision of a certified teacher. Responsibilities may also include supervision of students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, restrooms, playgrounds, cafeterias, libraries, hallways, and during arrival/dismissal times, as directed by administration.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation and implementation of instructional materials Support supervision, escorting, and instruction of students as directed Assist in maintaining accurate records of student progress Support the teacher in all aspects of the daily instructional program Participate in staff development activities as required Perform additional duties as assigned by administrationQualifications:
Valid Illinois Paraprofessional License (required) - registered in DuPage County Learn more/apply: https://www.isbe.net/Pages/paraprofessional-educator.aspx Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency Ability to work effectively as part of a teamPhysical Demands:
