The Assistant Teacher works collaboratively with the teaching team to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while supporting children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Qualifications Candidates must possess an active CDA to be considered for classroom placement. Early Childhood Education coursework is welcomed; however, the CDA is the required qualifying credential. Head Start experience preferred but not required. Experience working with young children in a classroom setting preferred. Additional Requirements Must meet all required background screening standards
