We're hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work directly with children in their homes, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized, evidence-based therapy. This is 1:1, in-home work. You'll go into a family's home and deliver structured therapy sessions using a plan designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is actively involved in your day-to-day work. Sessions typically run 2-6 hours and are scheduled around both the family's routine and your availability. You do not need ABA experience to apply. We're looking for people who are patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy working with children. If you're willing to learn and committed to showing up consistently for the families you serve, we will train you for everything else. Backgrounds that translate well to this role: School paraprofessional or classroom aide Direct support professional (DSP) or in-home caregiver Early childhood education or childcare worker Psychology, education, or social work student or graduate Anyone with experience supporting individuals with disabilities or special needs Job Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with children in their home Follow individualized treatment plans developed and supervised by a BCBA Collect data during every session to track each child's progress Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA and the child's family Participate in regular supervision meetings Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred but not required) Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license — sessions are in clients' homes throughout McHenry County Ability to pass a background check Must obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire — we walk you through the entire process
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
