When filled. Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking two Multilingual Program Paraeducators for the 2026-2027 school year at Chippewa Middle School.
Position Information:
This is a full time, 10 month, 180 day school year position, and will work with ML students in various educational settings. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Paraprofessional license from the
Illinois State Board of Education:

District Information:
District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information:
The position starting salary is $19.10 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits. (Those with 3 years of experience as a paraeducator or who hold a Bachelors degree will have a starting salary of $20.10 per hour.) This position is part of the Des Plaines Educational Support Personnel Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. Selection Procedure:
All applications will be reviewed and qualified applicants will be recommended for further interview consideration. After interviews are completed, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources will make a recommendation to the Board of Education via the Superintendent.
