District 62 has approximately 4,700 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information:

The position starting salary is $18.54 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits. (Those with 3 years of experience as a paraeducator or who hold a Bachelors degree will have a starting salary of $19.54 per hour.) This position is part of the Des Plaines Educational Support Personnel Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement.
