At our non-public, special education school approved by the Illinois State Board of Education, we provide tailored support for children (ages 3-21) diagnosed with autism, emotional/behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and other health impairments. Our School Family Includes:
Monitoring and documenting student behavior as outlined in their IEPs and behavior intervention plans. Assisting in the implementation of Crisis Prevention Intervention strategies. Creating and managing individualized program materials. Supporting group educational activities aligned with student IEPs. Collaborating with teachers on IEP objectives and providing documentation. Assisting in daily lesson plan execution and classroom preparation. Employing approved verbal and physical intervention techniques when necessary. Supporting students with physical needs, including toileting and eating. Utilizing technology and assistive tools to enhance learning. Participating in ongoing training to sharpen your skills and knowledge.

Competitive salary:
$30,000$42,000 annually.
Qualifications We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent and Paraprofessional License. Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, speech, or a related field is a plus. Illinois State Board of Education Substitute Teacher License. Experience working with children with autism or related disorders. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed. Strong understanding of policies, rules, and procedures, with the ability to apply them effectively.
