Job Description

The Learning Tree in Elgin is seeking Preschool/PreK Teachers to support our Illinois Preschool for All (PFA) Program! Our mission is to be a nurturing environment for young children trusted by parents.   • Compensation:
    $50,000-$55,000/year
  • Nine-month contract, with option to work year-round!
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and Professional Educator License with ECE endorsement.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Location :
2325 Royal Blvd. Elgin. Help build a future leader! Provide learning experiences in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, fine arts, foreign language, social-emotional development, and other subject matter suited to the needs of children. Develop and use instructional materials suitable for verbal or visual instruction of children with a wide range of mental, physical, and emotional maturities. Provide individual and small-group instruction designed to meet individual needs of children. Enrich educational program through study trips to community resources and through classroom visits. Share and interpret these experiences with children and parents. Communicate regularly with parents by means of parent meetings, newsletters, home visits, and individual parent conferences. Provide appropriate climate to establish and reinforce acceptable child behavior, attitudes, and social skills. The Learning Tree is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
