W Montessori Academy is a well-established Montessori school serving children ages two through six in a thoughtfully prepared environment rooted in Montessori philosophy. We believe in supporting each child's natural curiosity, independence, confidence, and respect for others. In this role, you will work closely with experienced Montessori educators to support toddlers and young children during an important stage of growth and development. Your patience, care, and enthusiasm will help create a calm, engaging, and respectful classroom where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. This is a part-time, year-round position, ideal for a dedicated early childhood educator who enjoys working with toddlers and believes in the Montessori approach to learning. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing Montessori-based classroom routines and activities Support toddlers and young children in developing independence, confidence, and practical life skills Help maintain a clean, organized, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared Montessori environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support language development, fine motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early learning Supervise children during classroom work time, outdoor play, meals, transitions, and daily routines Assist with toileting, diapering, handwashing, snack/lunch routines, and rest time as needed Model grace, courtesy, patience, and respect in all interactions with children Observe children's needs, behaviors, and development, and communicate relevant information to the lead teacher Support positive classroom management using calm, respectful, and developmentally appropriate guidance Help prepare and organize classroom materials and learning areas Communicate professionally and warmly with team members and families Follow school policies, health and safety procedures, and childcare standards Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive school culture Why Join W Montessori Academy?
