Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting teaching staff and supporting students with diverse learning and needs. This role involves collaborating with other professionals to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements. Responsibilities Participate in a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes child welfare and encourages positive behavior. Utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences and help facilitate effective teaching methods. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education and early childhood education. Requirements ISBE paraprofessional license required possibility of lifting and rest-rooming duties
