Job Description

Program Aide Job Description Riverside Foundation provides a supportive, positive working environment where you can make a difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Program Aides work directly with residents, supporting daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and caring environment.
Schedules:
Must work 1 weekend shift. A $1/hr. shift differential is paid for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday. Tuesday
  • Friday 3PM-11PM or Monday
  • Thursday 3PM
  • 11PM.
Saturday:
7AM-3
PM Sunday:
7AM
  • 3PM Duties include: A.
Implement training programs with clients in areas identified by the Interdisciplinary Team. B. Provide assistance to clients in areas of need. Communicate clients' needs to Program Coordinator. C. When assigned, attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings and provide relevant information on client status in training programs and areas of need. D. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living Skills per Program Coordinator's instructions. E. Encourage clients' interpersonal skills. F. Ensure the environment is conducive to a safe and proper learning environment. Monitor and maintain class supplies. H. Provide intervention for client maladaptive behaviors. G. Monitor and supervise clients to ensure safety and well-being. 1. Participate with clients in their daily routine. Follow work schedules. J. Encourage client participation in the greater community.
