Assistant Preschool Teacher 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum and engaging activities that promote learning through play. You will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive educational experience for all students. Will work as a floater helping do breaks and stepping into classrooms as needed! Looking for someone who wants to be a part of a wonderful team of early childhood educators. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize Montessori methods and other educational approaches to enhance children's learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational program that meets the needs of all students. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Familiarity with curriculum development techniques tailored for preschool-aged children. Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community. Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus. A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds.
