Job Description
This position is for a classroom paraprofessional that assists students with academics in the classroom, helps to maintain a positive learning environment, and assists with other duties as needed. This position will likely involve serving lunch to students and driving students to and from school in a 7 passenger mini van. Any questions about the position can be directed to cwhite@roe13.org . Work hours are from 8:00am - 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, during the school year. This is a 180 day position. This is a full-time position that offers health, dental, and vision insurance. IMRF retirement is also included. This position will require a paraprofessional license and a clean driving record. A paraprofessional license can be obtained by: Associate's degree or higher 60 semester hours of coursework High School Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS Parapro High School Diploma or GED and the following scores on the ACT Workkeys: Applied Mathematics/Applied Math (with a score of 4) Reading for information/Workplace Documents (with a score of 4)
