Job Description

Assistant Choral Teacher- Grades 6-12 Must have Illinois Professional Educator License Must have Music Endorsement for grade level Quincy Junior High/Quincy High School 2026-27
School Year Performance Responsibilities:
The position includes teaching two mixed choirs (one at Junior High Level and one at Senior High Level) assisting with choirs at both buildings. The successful candidate will have experience in choral conducting, broad knowledge in selecting appropriate choral repertoire for middle school and high school voices, a vision for recruitment and retention, possess piano skills, a strong collaborative spirit, communication, public relations and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to build positive and collaborative relationships with fellow music teachers and a positive and energetic rapport with students.
