Dominican University invites applicants for adjunct teaching positions in Physician Assistant Studies. Instructors are sought on a rolling basis in anticipation of future program needs. There is no start date or deadline for applications; candidates may be contacted regarding their interest in future opportunities as they arise. Adjunct Faculty appointments are per semester and contingent upon enrollment. Responsibilities will include graduate instruction in didactic and/or clinical sections in the area(s) of expertise.
JOB COMPONENTS
Provide exemplary instruction as a Course Director in the didactic phase of the curriculum, simulation lab, and/or clinical areas of teaching Participate in mentoring and role modeling for PA students Create and/or edit educational deliverables for assigned courses Partner with the Clinical Simulation Manager to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical scenarios within the simulation laboratory environment to optimize student learning outcomes
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an ARC-PA accredited master's program Illinois license (or licensure-eligible) as a Physician Assistant/Associate NCCPA certification in good standing Two years of full-time clinical experience as a
Physician Assistant/Associate Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree Five years of full-time clinical experience as a Physician Assistant/Associate Evidence of teaching excellence

Salary and FLSA Status Salary:
Typically $1,500 per credit hour. The actual pay is determined based on credentials, experience, course level, and credit hours. Pay could differ for directed study courses.
