Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Hillel Torah North Suburban Day School, located in Skokie, is seeking a warm, energetic, and passionate preschool assistant teacher with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children learn and grow and have a collaborative approach when working with other teachers to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with children ages 3 - 5 years
  • Ability to actively engage with children
  • Commitment to providing a nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom experience
  • Willingness to care for and support each individual child throughout the day, including but not limited to: in the classroom, on the playground, in the gym, in the bathroom, and during mealtimes
