Job Description

Overview Join a vibrant early childhood education team as an Early Childhood Teacher Assistant Aide, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing, engaging environment for young learners. In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your positive energy and commitment will directly impact children's growth and learning experiences, fostering a love for exploration and discovery from the very start. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in early childhood education while making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Help with daily childcare routines including diapering, feeding, nap time, and hygiene to ensure children's comfort and well-being Facilitate literacy education activities that promote language development and early reading skills Support math and numeracy activities that encourage problem-solving and critical thinking among preschool-aged children Work closely with children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism, providing tailored support to meet individual development goals Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians about children's progress, behaviors, and classroom activities Assist in classroom organization, material preparation, and curriculum development to enhance learning experiences Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques Familiarity with lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education methods Ability to work effectively with children with autism or other disabilities; experience in toddler care or Montessori environments is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members Classroom management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere while ensuring safety and discipline Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children of all abilities in diverse settings This job does require a background check, drug test, and fingerprints Embark on a rewarding journey supporting early childhood development!
