Details:
An MTSS Teacher works collaboratively with the School Psychology team to support general education students through intervention planning, progress monitoring, and data-based decision making. They partner with building teams to develop and monitor systems of intervention, analyze student data at both the individual and district level, and help ensure students receive timely and appropriate academic and behavioral supports. Under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist, MTSS Teachers also assist with systematic classroom observations, assessment coordination and delivery within scope, parent communication, and report development related to the identification of students with disabilities. This is a 184-day school year calendar certified position. This position is for the 2026-27 school year.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), intervention processes, and progress monitoring Ability to analyze academic and behavioral data to support data-based decision making Knowledge of special education referral, evaluation, and eligibility processes Strong collaboration and consultation skills when working with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff Effective written and verbal communication skills, including within report writing and parent communication Ability to organize, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and timelines across buildings or student teams Experience supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs in a school setting
