We are rapidly growing and looking for passionate, creative and motivated employees to join our team! We're looking for a candidate who can work PRN within our Adult Day Services & Memory Care program, and/or also work as a Driver for the program as needed. Our program runs during daytime hours, Monday-Friday. PRN hours could vary between 7 am - 6 pm depending on the need being filled. Our Adult Day Services & Memory Care program primarily serves adult clients with physical or neurological disabilities, or an Alzheimer's or Dementia diagnosis. This position is responsible for the care, safety and support of Turnstone clients. Primary responsibilities for a PRN Program Assistant include, but are not limited to: Physically supporting clients with personal needs and activities of daily living, such as transfers, ambulation, feeding, and bathroom care Assisting in the planning of individual and group activities Setting up and assisting clients with program activities Collaborating with the Adult Day Services and Memory Care teams on the creation of the monthly program schedule to include activities designed to engage clients Providing a safe and supervised environment for clients Encouraging clients to participate and communicate Maintaining equipment and supply inventory for the program Documenting information for client files and maintaining required records Primary Responsibilities for a PRN Driver include, but are not limited to: Safely operating our Turnstone specialized bus equipped with features (operating lift and other safety restraints) to accommodate individuals with physical disabilities. Assisting passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, including the utilization of wheelchair lifts or ramps as needed. Securing wheelchairs and mobility devices properly to ensure stability during transit. Communicating effectively with passengers and/or their caregivers to provide assistance and address any concerns or special needs. Following designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the bus interior and ensure accessibility features are in working condition. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify the operational status of the vehicle and report any issues promptly. Responding calmly and effectively to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, prioritizing passenger safety at all times. Providing courteous and respectful service to passengers, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Collaborating with Turnstone Adult Day Service staff to coordinate routes, schedules, and special accommodations for passengers

Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other employees Knowledge of accessibility regulations and techniques for assisting passengers with physical disabilities. Requirements:
High school diploma A clean driving record: free of DUI/DWI, reckless driving citations, at-fault accidents, license suspensions or revocations, and minimal or no moving violations. Up to date CPR and First Aid Certification, or obtained upon hire. Physical ability to assist passengers with boarding, securing mobility devices, and navigating the bus. Caregiving experience (preferred) Activity planning experience (preferred) Must be able to lift, handle, push or pull 50 lbs. alone or 100 lbs. with support from someone else
