Job Description
Overview We are seeking an assistant Teacher willing to step into a classroom to assist other teachers in caring for and educating our young learners. Our facility houses children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Responsibilities Closing duties of the facility like cleaning and putting things away, shutting the lights down, taking out trash. Assist lead teachers in lesson plans to ensure continuity of instruction as needed. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment. Care for children appropriately, including but not limited to preparing lunch, changing diapers, serving snack, assisting with bathroom breaks, etc. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement. Engage with children in positive ways throughout each part of the day. Maintain accurate records of student daily activities. Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom in alignment with school policies. Requirements Experience working with students in a childcare setting is preferred. Reliable transportation Strong classroom management skills to maintain an orderly environment conducive to learning a bonus. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learners effectively preferred. Background in Early Childhood Education or related fields is an advantage. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students is required. A positive, team work attitude is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
