Program Assistant Aspire Indy Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Youth recreational activities facilitation Student supervision High school diploma or GED Driver's License Performing background checks Student activities (student support initiatives) Activity planning for children Full Job Description Camp starts Monday, June 17-Friday, July 19 Build relationships with students through daily conversation and quality interactions. Help students develop social and conflict resolution skills and create healthy friendships. Provide opportunities for students to participate successfully and enjoy all aspects of the program experience. Be a trusted figure who is consistent, fair, and follows through when redirecting behavior. Organize, lead, and manage groups and individuals in planned activities. Help to keep a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Assume responsibility for the health and well-being of the students entrusted to your care. Actively supervise students during all aspects of the day, including arrival, departure, field trips, meals, academic enrichment, program partners, transitions, and play. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be a high school graduate. Can confidently organize and lead large groups of children in activities with an ability to think on your feet when things don't go as planned. Be a self-starter and can jump in without being prompted Must work well with diverse populations. Committed to the mission, vision, and core values of Aspire Indy. Must be willing to submit to and pass a criminal history/background check.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
