Instructional Assistant

Assist the teacher in the classroom in the development and implementation of appropriate educational programs and services Make preparations for classroom activities as directed by a licensed teacher Work individually or with small groups of students to reinforce instruction Supervise testing and make-up work under the direction of the teacher Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work as established by the teacher Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality Participate in in-service training programs as assigned Attend to self-help needs of students Supervise students during bus loading and/or unloading, playground, cafeteria, and other activities
