Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for students. This position is perfect for individuals who have a love for education and a desire to contribute to the growth and development of young learners, particularly in preschool and early childhood settings. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education and childhood development. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and organized learning environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster strong relationships and ensure a collaborative educational experience. Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Facilitate small group activities that encourage social interaction and cognitive skills among students. Observe and document student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher on individual learning needs. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Requirements Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development practices. Familiarity with literacy education strategies is a plus. Previous experience in preschool or private school environments is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
