Position Purpose:

The Classroom Aide assists and works under close directive of teachers and bus drivers in a center and on the bus to support children in developing the skills designed to promote social, physical and cognitive growth in order to prepare children for the routines of a school setting. This is a full time 9-month position.

Essential Functions:

Provide excellent customer service/communication skills. Assist in implementation of developmentally appropriate classroom activities. Assist teaching team in providing information for child records and progress reports. Participate in trainings as required. Provide additional site support where needed.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

High school diploma or Equivalent is required (CDA preferred). No experience needed. Some experience working with children is preferred. Spanish speaking preferred.
