In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing educational activities, managing classroom routines, and fostering positive social and emotional development. Your energetic approach will inspire curiosity and confidence in children during their foundational years, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education. Duties Assist lead teachers in preparing and organizing lesson materials aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education principles. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior, implementing behavior management strategies, and maintaining a safe environment for children. Engage with children through interactive activities that promote social skills, early literacy, numeracy, and motor development. Help monitor individual children's progress, especially those with special needs or disabilities such as autism or other developmental delays. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, snack time, nap time, and transitions to ensure safety at all times. Collaborate with teachers to develop tailored lesson plans that incorporate Montessori or other age-appropriate teaching methods. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about daily activities, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to their child's progress. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education practices. Familiarity with curriculum development for preschool-aged children including literacy education and math fundamentals. Experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and children. Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a positive learning environment. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or special education is advantageous. Passion for working with children and commitment to their growth and well-being.
