Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized attention to students. This role is essential in helping students achieve their academic goals and enhancing their overall educational experience. Duties Assist the lead teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities. Support students with their learning tasks and provide one-on-one assistance as needed. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Monitor student behavior and provide guidance to ensure a respectful and productive atmosphere. Assist with administrative tasks such as grading assignments and maintaining student records. Collaborate with teachers to identify students who may need additional support or resources. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills. Qualifications Previous experience in an educational setting or as a Teacher's Aide is preferred but not required. Skills in food handling, such as assisting with snacks, parties and sack lunches. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative when necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed academically and socially. Must be able to pass background checks as required by school policies.
