POSITION
Preschool Teacher Assistant
LOCATION
Heartland Early Education TERM:
40 hours per week 7:30AM to 4PM with 30 minute unpaid break During the school-year (August through May)
STARTING PAY
$16.70/hr (High School Diploma, no experience required) $17.74/hr (Must have CDA credential)
Additional Benefits:
Pay increases and a $500 incentive upon obtaining
CDA. REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required Ability to obtain a Child Development Associate (credential) with pay increase and $500 incentive upon obtaining CDA. Experience working in a preschool setting is preferred Passion for working with preschool children is essential!
DUTIES:
You will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of preschool children. Your responsibilities will include the following: Assisting children with daily activities Providing direction and guidance to foster a positive learning environment Supporting teachers in facilitating age-appropriate educational activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing space for children to grow and learn.
