August 5, 2026 Frankfort High School is seeking a dedicated, studentcentered individual to serve as an Essential Skills High School Paraprofessional. This position supports students with diverse academic, behavioral, socialemotional, and functional needs in both classroom and smallgroup settings.
Job Requirements:
Support students in classroom instruction and daily learning activities Assist teachers with implementing accommodations and modifications outlined in student plans Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce academic and functional skills Help monitor student progress and behavior Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Assist students with organization, communication, and socialemotional development Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet student needs Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other school activities as assigned Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear drug screen and all Indiana background check requirements for school personnel as required by state law.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma required; associate degree or college coursework preferred Experience working with students or children preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude are essential Applicants should apply online at: www.frankfortschools.org and include: Completed CSF application Letter of interest Current resume Names and phone numbers of at least three references
