In this role, you will support lead teachers in delivering high-quality care and education to children during afternoon hours, ensuring a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate experience. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning through play Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster creativity, curiosity, and independence Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and progress Support with basic caregiving duties such as diapering, feeding, or comforting children as needed Skills Experience working with young children in preschool, daycare, or babysitting roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement First aid certification or willingness to obtain it. Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Passion for nurturing children's growth and creating an inclusive learning environment This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to support early childhood education while developing their skills in a lively, caring setting.
