Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Support Teachers work as a team to provide a safe, nurturing, respectful and enriching environment for the children in the program. Support Teachers assist in implementation of classroom programing that meet the developmental needs of the children. Teachers and families work together to ensure each child has the opportunity to grow, develop, and build meaningful relationships in our program. The center is open from 7:15 am to 5:45 pm. Full-time staff work 40 hours per week and are scheduled for nine-hour shifts with one hour for lunch.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Be 18 years of age High school diploma. Meet the licensing requirements for child care staff in a Type I child care center. Currently enrolled in higher education, preferred or experience working with young children in a professional setting.
