Job Description

Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher or Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your skills in early childhood education. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and physical development in preschool children. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence. Plan and execute engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods, sensory activities, and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques. Support children with special educational needs by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists to ensure inclusive learning experiences. Monitor and document each child's progress using standardized testing methods and ongoing assessments to inform instruction. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns. Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred, but not necessary. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education. Experience with special education techniques and early intervention programs is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Ability to plan lessons that align with educational standards such as Montessori or other preschool frameworks. Pay:
$8.00 - $9.50 per hour
