Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Preschool Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development, ensuring each child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities that develop literacy, math skills, and social-emotional learning Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean, safe space Work closely with children to support individual needs, including those with autism or disabilities, fostering their development and participation Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood education Participate in ongoing training on topics such as behavior management, childhood development, and curriculum development Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles including literacy education, math concepts, and classroom management techniques Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs Familiarity with childcare safety standards and classroom organization best practices Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through engaging activities and compassionate care Join us in shaping bright futures!
