Description:
The Children's Center at AHS and the EEC Program Support Staff position is a five-day-per-week role, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The staff member's schedule will be shared between The Children's Center and the AHS Career and Technical Education (CTE) Early Education and Care (EEC) classroom
Job Details:
EEC CTE Responsibilities Supervise high school students during their placements in The Children's Center Observe, mentor, and evaluate student performance to support professional growth Supervise students in the classroom, allowing the lead teacher to focus on hands-on instruction Children's Center Responsibilities Provide coverage for staff breaks and substitute needs Assist with administrative tasks and daily operations in The Children's Center office
Requirements and Expectations:
Experience working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-aged children. Commitment to maintaining established classroom and school routines and procedures. Genuine interest and enthusiasm for working in the early childhood education field. Ability to always maintain strict confidentiality. Strong organizational skills. Reliable, dependable, and accountable. Effective communication skills with staff, families, and students. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Punctual with consistent, dependable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications Highly Qualified:
2 years college credits or equivalent or passing score of the ParaPro EEC Certification as a Lead Teacher or higher Experience in Early Childhood Education Experience working with high school students is a plus Salary per Attleboro Paraprofessionals Association Collective Bargaining Agreement -
Salary Range:
$32,266 - $47,397 When acting as the point person in the adminstrator's absence, contractual coverage language will apply. Applications will be considered when submitted via our online application system with
