m., Monday-Friday (40hrs/week)
Description:
Harborlight Montessori is seeking a compassionate and attentive Support Teacher to join our Children's House program. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. You'll help support each child's daily routines, developmental milestones, and emerging sense of independence. Experience working with the PreK age group is essential, and EEC certification is strongly preferred. Montessori training is not required — we will support your growth — but a genuine love for working with babies and a commitment to responsive, respectful care are a must. What We Offer

Skills and Qualifications:
Working at Harborlight be knowledgeable of the philosophy of Montessori education demonstrate strong cultural awareness and responsiveness, as well as experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Priority will be given to candidates with qualifications including: Montessori Credential•
AMI, AMS, MACTE
Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree preferred MA EEC Teacher
REQUIRED
of all candidates Teaching at Harborlight support a developmentally appropriate Children's House program for children Ages 3-6 in collaboration with lead teachers have enthusiasm, flexibility, and a desire to collaborate with colleagues both on your team and across different classrooms exhibit excellent communication with families to provide timely and appropriate feedback regarding student progress possess a growth mindset when it comes to engaging with relevant and mission-driven professional learning Responsibilities at Harborlight performing various duties, including classroom coverage, lunch duty, laundry, dishes etc. maintain aesthetically pleasing classroom space and common areas attending faculty and team meetings where appropriate participating in admissions programming as needed and other duties as assigned
