Description:
Harborlight Montessori is seeking a compassionate and attentive Assistant Teacher to join our Infant-Toddler program in a support role. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. Youll help support each childs daily routines, developmental milestones, and emerging sense of independence.

Experience working with toddlers is essential, and EEC certification is strongly preferred. Montessori training is not required we will support your growth but a genuine love for working with babies and a commitment to responsive, respectful care are a must.

Skills and Qualifications:
Working at Harborlightbe knowledgeable of the philosophy of Montessori educationdemonstrate strong cultural awareness and responsiveness, as well as experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiativesPriority will be given to candidates with qualifications including: Montessori Credential- AMI, AMS, MACTEBachelor's Degree or advanced degree preferredMA EEC Teacher
REQUIRED
of all candidatesTeaching at Harborlightsupport a developmentally appropriate Toddler program for children Ages 2-3 in collaboration with lead teachershave enthusiasm, flexibility, and a desire to collaborate with colleagues both on your team and across different classroomsexhibit excellent communication with families to provide timely and appropriate feedback regarding student progresspossess a growth mindset when it comes to engaging with relevant and mission-driven professional learningResponsibilities at Harborlightperforming various duties, including classroom coverage, lunch duty, laundry, dishes etc.maintain aesthetically pleasing classroom space and common areasattending faculty and team meetings where appropriateparticipating in admissions programming as neededand other duties as assigned
Harborlight Montessori:
