Position Overview Amergis Staffing is partnered with schools in the Fall River area and is seeking dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to support the Social Emotional Program . This is a social-emotional program that provides a continuum of therapeutic supports and specialized instruction designed to help students develop essential social-emotional skills while accessing academics in mainstream classroom settings. Programs are available at both the elementary and middle school levels . This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs in a structured, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support to students in 1:1 and small group settings Assist with the implementation of behavior support plans and instructional activities Support students in mainstream classroom settings as appropriate Collect and accurately document data related to student behavior and progress , including use of point sheets Maintain a calm, supportive presence to help students regulate emotions and behavior Qualifications & Experience Comfortable working with students with behavioral and social-emotional challenges Experience with de-escalation strategies Experience with data collection and documentation Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive in a dynamic school environment Candidates with residential program backgrounds and prior social-emotional experience are strongly preferred Why Amergis Amergis Staffing partners with school districts to provide meaningful, impactful support services. Minimum Requirements:
