Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant educational team as a Teacher/Assistant Teacher Float, where your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners across various classrooms. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work with children of different ages and developmental stages, supporting their growth through engaging activities and tailored instruction. As a float teacher, you will bring flexibility, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education to ensure every child's needs are met with care and professionalism. Duties Collaborate with lead teachers to implement curriculum development strategies that promote literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional learning. Provide direct support in classrooms by assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, early intervention, and preschool readiness. Support toddlers and preschoolers with specialized care including toddler care routines and early childhood education practices. Monitor student progress through observations, providing feedback to teachers for ongoing assessment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote child welfare and ensure a collaborative approach to education. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring activities. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience in special education or early intervention programs is a plus. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education standards. Ability to adapt quickly across different classroom environments as a float teacher; flexibility is essential.
