Foster Elementary School Job Summary Kids In Action seeks a nurturing and creative high school/college student who is able to assist the students in a variety of activities and who can work in a team environment. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children. Monitor behavior and assist children to follow the rules When required, work as a 1:1 with children needing support Assist in planning developmentally appropriate activities. Help children to engage in activities and promote positive interactions with others. Implement daily activities set forth by the teachers Participate in all activities and maintain enthusiasm as an example for the children. Keep KIA space and assigned housekeeping areasclean, neat and organized. Participate equally in the daily set-up and breakdown of the physical shared space. Assist in the preparation and clean-up of daily snacks and materials. Complete three hours of EEC StrongStart Professional Development. Complete First Aid and CPR training annually. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Compassionate and positive attitude. Excellent communication skills. Cooperative and flexible Physically able to set up and take down folding tables.
