Up to $25/hr (•Based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking two dedicated Paraprofessionals / School Aides to support students in an Autism Sub-Separate Transitions Program at the high school level. This program focuses on helping students build independence, life skills, and transition readiness as they prepare for post-secondary opportunities. Candidates should be passionate about working with students with autism and supporting their growth both academically and functionally. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support to students within a sub-separate classroom setting Assist with development of life skills, vocational readiness, and daily living skills Support students during classroom instruction, community-based activities, and transitions throughout the school day Implement behavior support strategies and maintain a structured, supportive environment Collaborate with teachers and clinical staff to support individualized goals Reinforce positive behaviors and assist with emotional regulation as needed Student Population Students in this program are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and may require support with: Social skills and communication Transition planning and independence Behavioral regulation Functional academics and vocational skills Qualifications Experience working with students with autism or developmental disabilities preferred Ability to support behavioral and instructional needs in a structured setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Patient, reliable, and proactive approach School-based or special education experience preferred Why Join This Role?
