General Summary of Position:
Assist in managing the student application, student enrollment, program marketing, and program administration of education abroad programs. Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Education:
Bachelor required
Experience:
Demonstrated administrative experience is required. Background in education abroad programming and/or higher education administration is highly desirable. 2-3 years professional experience required, however will consider candidates with HS diploma or GED and at least 6-8 years of experience.
Skills:
Excellent administrative, oral and written communications skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, work as a member of a team and student advising skills. Excellent judgment and ability to deal with difficult situations, including emergencies and crisis abroad. Demonstrated intercultural understanding, familiarity of U.S. and foreign university structures, and prior experience with education abroad programming.
Additional Considerations:
Bachelors Degree in international studies, intercultural relations, education, foreign language, or a related field is preferred; Masters preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Publisher, Word), PeopleSoft, Via TRM. Use of social media in marketing and outreach helpful. Special Instructions to
