Pay:

$18-$20 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Khmer-speaking Program Aide / Driver to support our Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and is committed to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate care. The position combines transportation, direct care support, and language assistance for Khmer-speaking participants.

Key Responsibilities Transportation Duties:

Safely transport participants to and from the center using a company vehicle Assist seniors with boarding and exiting the vehicle Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs in Lawrence and surrounding communities Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues

Program Aide Duties:

Assist participants with daily activities, including meals, social programs, and light exercise Provide companionship and emotional support Help ensure a safe and engaging environment for all participants

Translation & Cultural Support:

Serve as a Khmer-English interpreter for participants during activities, care interactions, and staff communication Support culturally appropriate programming for Khmer-speaking seniors Help bridge communication between staff, participants, and families Qualifications Fluent in Khmer and English (required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Experience working with seniors or in healthcare preferred Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to lift and assist participants as needed CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Preferred Qualifications Experience in Adult Day Health Care, senior care, or transportation services Knowledge of Cambodian culture and community Benefits Competitive hourly pay Paid training Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief description of your experience.
