Sep 1, 2026 Job Description 1.Assists teachers in classrooms, providing indirect instruction and support to students. 2.Assists with the supervision of playground, bus boarding activities, cafeteria and corridors. 3.Works under the direct supervision of teaching staff to implement special education and general education programs by providing both individual and small group support. 4.Provides behavioral, social and daily living skill support to students as assigned. 5.Alerts staff to any problem or special information about an individual student. 6.Assists with clerical work in teacher's classroom, library, office, and other appropriate workstations. 7.Support students in school-sponsored community activities or vocational opportunities. 8.Assists teachers in kindergarten. 9.Accompanies a sick or injured child when appropriate. 10.Assists in maintaining workroom area and machines. 11.Assists with lunch, snack, and cleanup routine. 12.Assists with library functions-book collection, dissemination and record keeping. 13.Performs clerical work related to record keeping for district and state reports. 14.Any other duties deemed appropriate and assigned by the Principal or Director of Student Services.
